We are currently recruiting for an experienced and professional Industrial Manager/Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our new Edinburgh office and build on its business portfolio by starting up an Industrial division with support from our Glasgow office.

THE ROLE

Develop and retain a profitable Industrial division from a start-up position

Grow & develop a strong team of Consultants

Introduce/adopt a business development sales culture to grow the division

Communicate effectively at all levels with clients, candidates & colleagues

Identify, win and retain business by providing exceptional customer service

Meet and exceed where possible divisional targets and objectives

Drive the Industrial business forward and connect with all types of businesses

Develop and grow relationships with targeted companies

THE PERSON

This position will suit somebody who has a hunger to succeed & who thrives under pressure. Sales is a tough business, so you’ll be naturally confident, resilient, tenacious and have your own sights set high.  We want you to be able to make an instant impact!

We expect you to be a strong multi-tasker, proactive, innovative & self-motivated with a good work ethic.

You also need to have a solid sales background within Industrial recruitment & be confident with both new business sales and account retention & development

You will have a track record of success gained within Recruitment and will be given the tools that you need to succeed in this position.

Essentials for this role:-

Geographical awareness of the local areas is essential to be able to visit industrial sites to meet with prospective Clients

Excellent customer service, communication and people skills

Confident IT skills, accuracy in recording information both paper and IT based.

Good working knowledge of social media

Excellent time management & organisational abilities

Experience in prioritising a busy and changing schedule

Full UK driving licence
