Things are busy, busy, busy here at Prime Staff and Black & Black. So much so that we’ve barely had time to shout it from the rooftops and tell everyone that WE HAVE MOVED!
If you missed the memo, we at Prime Staff and Black & Black have recently relocated to some brand new (and very fancy) offices at 21 Blythswood Square, Glasgow.
Our previous location in Bothwell Street served us well for many years, professionally and personally for our wonderful team, enabling us to grow both Prime Staff and Black & Black as well as providing us all with some pretty amazing memories throughout our time there. As the business has grown from strength to strength over the years, so too have the needs and requirements for our office space, meaning that we simply outgrew our old home and were on the lookout for somewhere a bit more spacious, whilst still retaining that vital central location that is so important for our business.
At only a five minute walk from our previous location we found exactly what we were looking for, and we couldn’t be happier with our new digs. Our new Blythswood Square location is perfectly situated for public transport, meaning that we’re still very accessible for anyone who wishes to pop in for a visit. We also have a beautiful interior, with our new reception area housed at the front of the building giving us some stunning views of the adjacent Blythswood Square gardens. Perfect for the fabulous Glasgow Summer weather!
Over the past eight weeks since moving in we’ve been busy unpacking all our boxes, adding artwork to the walls and familiarising ourselves with our new home and locale. We were even able to take advantage of the glorious sunshine of Glasgow’s two week long Summer in the Blythswood Square gardens, our new front garden! Eight weeks in and we couldn’t be happier with our new place.
Our move has meant that not only do we have amazing spaces for our all our Sales, Payroll & Finance teams to work in, we also have newly refurbished interview rooms, which are ready and waiting for Candidates new and old to come in for a visit. Complimenting these rooms is our new state of the art training facility, enabling us to continue to provide as well as expand the range of training courses we can offer.
We also have some pretty great perks for our staff members, including a new state of the art kitchen, providing us with space to chill out and re-fuel throughout the day. We’ve still to fully test out the fridge to see how much wine & beer it can hold, but a launch party is imminent so we shall report back with our verdict!
The move itself, although only ‘up the road’, was a tad stressful – as anyone who has ever had to cram their lives into boxes to move into a new home will know. However, now that we’re well and truly rid of the cardboard boxes and settled in our new home we can say that all the effort was truly worth it.
We couldn’t have done it ourselves, so would like to say a massive thank you to the teams at Pacific & BGL for the fantastic job they done with fitting out our fabulous new space.
We’d also like to give a huge, huge thanks to Stuart & the IT gurus over at Hiper Ltd for making sure we were connected to the world again in record time!
Phew! What an amazing year it’s been so far! Here’s to spending the rest of it, and many more to come, in our new place.
