Support Worker

Salary: £13,295
Our well established client are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to join their organisations on a permanent basis for 30 hrs per week in Govan. The successful candidates will be required to support a variety of individuals including in young people and adults with complex disabilities.

Qualifications and Skills
• A fun personality
• Able to service users out walking or in a wheelchair
• An ability to support service users with swimming
• Experience of working with individuals with complex disabilities / Autism
• Driving licence (desirable)
• An understanding of complex communication
• A willingness to work with individuals with high health needs including epilepsy and participate in required training
• Able to support service users with personal care

Benefits
Our client pays the Scottish Living Wage, £8.45 per hour, as their starting rate and on the occasions that sleepovers are required, an additional payment is made. Additional benefits include contributory pension scheme, life cover, SVQ training and a generous holiday allowance.
