Finance Assistant

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
The Job:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant on a permanent basis for our successful Glasgow client.

This role will ideally suit an all round finance professional looking for career development, responsibility and progression.

Working closely with Senior Management it is essential that applicants have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, enthusiasm, drive and initiative.


The Duties:
Duties will include:

• Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Bank Reconciliations
• Credit Control
• Processing payroll
• Processing & auditing expenses
• Petty Cash
• Weekly reporting
• Assisting with month end accounts

Person Specification:

• Steady career history in similar role
• History of working with external suppliers &
internal multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills
• IT proficient in particular MS Excel
• Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll experience
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and present
complex data
• Ability to understand complex financial information and business
processes and systems
