Salary: £23,816 PA
The Job:
Primestaff are working with one of our well established clients, based in the Leeds 10 area, who are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T driver to join their team as a Collection & Delivery Driver.

The Duties:
Our client specialises in business to business deliveries, they are looking for a hardworking multi-drop Collection and Delivery Driver to drive one of their 7.5T vehicles. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, starting at approximately 07:30 until 17:30. There will be optional Saturdays on a Rota, working until 12 which will be paid at an extra rate.

The number of drops per day will vary, on average between 35 to 40 drops, mostly to businesses. These will usually be in a confined postcode area.

Our client is looking for a driver who wants a long term career. They give drivers the opportunity to develop, giving them access to training so they can further develop your driving career up to category C+E (HGV1).

Skills and experience required:

- Applicants must hold a current UK C1 licence. Licences must have no more than 6 penalty points. Drivers with DD or DR codes or bans will NOT be considered. ALL drivers must have a digital tachograph card and current driver CPC card.
- Experience working in the parcel industry or similar role experience is desired but not essential. The candidate must have excellent customer service skills. -
The ideal candidate must also be hard working, eager to learn and have a positive attitude as well as been able to work on their own initiative and have an organised approach to their day.
