Salary: £8.50 per hour +£7.83 per hour
The Job:
Our clients are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to join their organisations on a temporary /adhoc basis. The successful candidates will be required to support a variety of individuals including children in care, adults with physical or learning disabilities, mental health problems, addiction issues or other emotional or social needs.

The Duties:
This is a really great opportunity to be able to work long shifts and earn an hourly sleepover rate of £7.83.In order to be considered for this position you must possess:

- Checking service users’ needs and progress
- Providing personal care, which could include bathing, toileting, dressing and feeding
- Teaching daily living skills like budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits
- Providing leisure and creative activities in a safe and supportive setting
- Helping service users to deal with problems and become independent
- Talking with service users families and arranging family and home visits
- You'll also be expected to keep accurate records and write reports. These may be used in case reviews and future care plans.

Skills and experience required:

- Excellent communication skills, motivation and the ability to work under pressure
- Recent care sector experience
- An interest in working within a caring environment
- A Sensitive approach to the needs of our clients
- Experience of carrying out personal care
- PVG Membership
- SSSC Registration
- Current Moving and Handling certificate
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Contact details for two references within the care sector
- Midazolam training
- Epilepsy training

Immediate start for the right person. Hours are 35 hrs/per week. £8.50 per hour + £7.50 per hourly sleepover rate.
