Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority
The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) licensing scheme regulates businesses who provide workers to the fresh produce supply chain and horticulture industry, ensuring they meet the employment standards required by law. Employment agencies which provides workers to agriculture, horticulture, shellfish gathering or any associated processing and packaging is required to have a licence.
Prime Staff Services is a member and together we work in partnership to protect vulnerable and exploited workers. Strict regulations and processes are followed to ensure the safeguard of our candidates and clients, predominantly within food and agricultural sectors where modern day slavery is still present.

Association of Labour Providers
Established in 2004 at the instigation of the UK government, the Association of Labour Providers (ALP) is a specialist trade association promoting responsible recruitment and good practice for organisations that supply the workforce to the food processing, agricultural and wider consumer goods supply chain.
It has had, and continues to have, a significant effect on government and regulatory policy and provides a range of very useful information and services to its members.
Sedex
We are also members of Sedex, which is a global non-profit membership organisation which acts as a collaborative platform for sharing responsible sourcing data on supply chains. Their services enable members to bring together many kinds of different data, standards and certifications to make informed business decisions.
